# DeepCell

> An open file format for reasoning you can share — conclusions from people and AI agents with their assumptions, evidence and calculations still attached — and a web application, CLI, MCP server and Claude Code plugin that read and write it.

DeepCell is an open file format (.deepcell) and a web application for analytical work that must stay examinable and continuable. One file connects tables, writing, slides and the reasoning behind them: change an assumption and the dependent numbers recompute, while the linked claims, prose and slides are flagged for review. AI agents read and write the format natively through a CLI, an MCP server and a Claude Code plugin; a finished file exports to Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and anyone can open one in the browser without an account.
